Kate's Chocolate Chip Cookies (American)

This is a basic cookie recipe that my friend Kate came up with. It's a real winner every time!

Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup solid margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
cream together first 3 ingredients
next add eggs and vanilla
Finally mix together flour, baking soda & salt -- then add little by little to the mixture.
Finally add 2 cups of chocolate chips.
